Northern Tier West Sports ReportTIOGA JUNCTION — Towanda took a 54-4 lead into halftime against Williamson and went on to down the Lady Warriors 86-18 in NTL girls’ basketball action here Friday.
The Knights led 22-4 after the first quarter and held Williamson scoreless in the second quarter while pouring in 32 points. A 19-11 Towanda third quarter and a 13-3 fourth provided the final.
Aubrey Wells led the Lady Warriors with five points. Bailey Snyder had four points, Laila Hackett had three and Makayla Anderson, Olivia Nolan and Leann Kessing had two points each.
Williamson (1-2) returns to action Saturday when they host Northern Potter.
