Northern Tier West Sports ReportTIOGA JUNCTION — Williamson took a first quarter lead over visiting Northern Potter but were outscored 36-10 the rest of the way and fell 40-16 in a non-league girls’ basketball match-up here Saturday.
The Warriors got a pair of 3-pointers from Kenna Thomas and Leann Kessing to take a 6-4 lead after one quarter of play, but Northern Potter took the second quarter 11-2, the third 13-4 and the final frame 12-4 to earn the win.
Olivia Nolan led Williamson with nine points in the loss while Kessing and Thomas each had three points and Alex Hastings had one point.
Williamson (1-3) is scheduled to host Wellsboro on Wednesday.
