Northern Tier West Sports ReportTOWANDA — North Penn-Liberty took on Towanda on Thursday and fell 61-37 to the undefeated Black Knights.
Towanda took leads of 12-9 after the first quarter, 25-15 at halftime and 50-30 after three quarters of play before finishing the win with an 11-7 final frame.
Conner Lewis led the Mounties with 11 points and added four rebounds and three assists, while Brody Grinnell added eight points, Sudan Benner and Evan McTish had six points each, Luke Kreger had four points and Landon Mattern scored two points.
North Penn-Liberty (1-3) returns to action on Wednesday at Northeast Bradford.
