Northern Tier West Sports ReportWESTFIELD — Cowanesque Valley was unable to overcome a slow start against Coudersport here Saturday and fell 66-44 to the non-league Falcons.
Coudersport took a 15-0 lead after the first quarter of play. CV took the second quarter 12-11 to go into the locker rooms down 26-12. After the Indians’ 22-20 third frame made it 46-34, Coudy closed out the win with a 20-10 fourth.
Levi Stahli led CV with 16 points while Ashtyn Burdick had 12 points, Parker Lee had seven, Reed Vargeson, Carsyn Kemp and Joshua Teague had three points each and Trevor Hollenbach added two points.
Cowanesque Valley (2-6) returns to play on Monday at Galeton.
