Northern Tier West Sports ReportPORT ALLEGANY, PA — Wellsboro dropped a low-scoring game to Port Allegany, falling 36-24 in non-league girls’ basketball play here Monday.
The host Lady Gators took leads of 9-5 after a quarter of play, 17-9 at the break and 30-15 after the third quarter.
Ady Frantz led the Lady Hornets with 13 points while Kate Bryant had five, Amelia Hulslander had four and Lily Wagner had two points.
Wellsboro drops to 3-8 with their fourth straight loss. They’ll host Troy (9-3) on Wednesday.
