Northern Tier West Sports ReportSAYRE — North Penn-Mansfield jumped back above .500 on the season as they cruised to a 61-42 win over Sayre in NTL boys’ basketball action here Friday.
The Tigers took leads of 19-9 after the first quarter, 36-18 at the break and 51-29 after three quarters.
Mansfield put three players in double figures for scoring, led by Andy Hermansen’s 20 points. Jason Harer had a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds and added five assists while Kevin Clemente-Vazquez scored 12 points.
Colton Pellett had seven points and 10 rebounds, Keaton Manikowski had four points and Layne Cummings had three points.
The Tigers (8-7) host Northern Potter on Saturday.
