Northern Tier West Sports ReportTROY — North Penn-Liberty couldn’t keep up with the host Lady Trojans and fell 50-33 in NTL girls basketball play here Tuesday night.
Troy took a 14-7 lead after the first quarter, went up 26-15 at the break and after a 12-12 third frame sealed the win with a 12-6 fourth.
Haley Litzelman led the Lady Mounties with a double-double of 22 points and 14 rebounds while Scarlett Graham scored six points, Kendall Graham had three points and Colette Frey added two.
The Lady Mounties (7-9) are scheduled to return to action Thursday when they host Northeast Bradford.
