Northern Tier West Sports ReportLIBERTY — Haley Litzelman scored 30 points but the Lady Mounties fell to Northeast Bradford 63-54 in an NTL small school girls’ basketball match-up here Thursday.
Litzelman led the Mounties to a 19-17 first quarter lead with 11 early points, but NEB rallied for a 19-8 second quarter and took a 36-27 lead into the locker rooms.
The Lady Panthers edged Liberty 10-8 in the third and Litzelman led NPL to a 19-17 fourth but it wouldn’t be enough to catch up to NEB.
Litzelman added 16 rebounds, five assists and three steals to her game-high 30 points, while Kendall Graham had 10 points and four assists, Scarlett Graham scored seven points, Serena Boiywo had four points and nine rebounds and Jaci Fairchild had three points.
North Penn-Liberty (7-10) hosts Williamson Tuesday.
