Northern Tier West Sports ReportCANTON — Cowanesque Valley used a strong start and balanced scoring to roll to a 61-33 win over Canton in NTL boys’ basketball action on Friday.
The Indians took a 23-11 lead after the first quarter, increased their lead to 36-20 at the break and went up 52-26 after three quarters of play.
Parker Lee led CV with 11 points while Ashtyn Burdick had 10, Jacob Johnson had eight points, Levi Stahli had seven, Carsyn Kemp, Kaiden Mascho and Joshua Teague had six points each, Trevin Hollenbach had four points and Reed Vargeson had three points.
Cowanesque Valley is scheduled to return to play on Monday at Northeast Bradford.
