NTL GIRLS BASKETBALL: WILLIAMSON TOPS NORTH PENN-LIBERTY DESPITE HISTORIC NIGHT FOR LITZELMAN (2026-02-03)

LIBERTY — Williamson got 31 combined points from Bailey Snyder (17) and Olivia Nolan (14) to overcome a historic night by North Penn-Liberty’s Haley Litzelman as the Lady Warriors won the NTL small school match-up, 40-34.

Litzelman’s 30 points included the 1,255th of her career, breaking the Lady Mounties’ all-time scoring record. The senior added 12 rebounds, seven steals and three blocked shots in the loss. 

North Penn-Liberty took a 13-9 lead after the first quarter before Williamson used a 15-6 second quarter where Nolan and Snyder scored six points each to take a 24-19 lead into halftime. 

Williamson increased their lead to 31-23 after three quarters of play and matched Litzelman’s nine-point fourth quarter to seal the win.

Alexis Sprague added five points and Jocelyn Colegrove had four points in the win for Williamson. 

Kendall Graham had four points for Liberty.

Williamson (7-12) is scheduled to return to action Thursday when they host Cowanesque Valley, while North Penn-Liberty (7-11) is at Canton, also on Thursday.
