NTL BASEBALL: WILLIAMSON DROPS OPENER TO NEB (2026-03-25)

TIOGA JUNCTION — The visiting Northeast Bradford Panthers used an eight run inning to hand Williamson a season-opening, 9-3 loss in an NTL baseball match-up here Wednesday.

NEB scored one run in the second inning and eight in the sixth before Williamson tacked on their three late runs in their last at-bat.

The Warriors had five base hits in the loss. Weston Copp had a double and two RBI, Carter Tubbs had a hit and an RBI and Kohen Vandelinder, Owen Cilino and Spencer Vandelinder each had a hit. Xander Stafford, Gabe Crance and Ayden Silvernail scored Williamson’s runs.

Maddox Hartman took the loss for the Warriors, pitching five innings and allowing three unearned runs on four base hits and three walks with four strikeouts.

Kohen Vandelinder went two-thirds of an inning and gave up four unearned runs on two hits and a walk with three strikeouts, Stafford threw a third of an inning and allowed two unearned runs with three walks and Spencer Vandelinder pitched a perfect inning.

The Warriors (0-1) are scheduled to be back in action Thursday when they host Sayre.
