NTL BASEBALL: COWANESQUE VALLEY CRUISES TO 3-INNING WIN AT WILLIAMSON (2026-03-31)

TIOGA JCT. — Cowanesque Valley held the host Warriors to three base hits and took advantage of six Williamson errors to earn a three inning, 16-1 win in NTL baseball action here Tuesday.

The Indians scored seven runs in the first inning, added two in the second and plated seven more in the third. Williamson’s lone run came in the bottom of the third, but it wouldn’t be enough to extend the game.

CV had six base hits in the win, as Brody Bruce (1 run) had two, Danny Smith (3 RBI, 1 run) had a double and Dave Hess (1 run), Lucas Hamilton (1 RBI, 2 runs) and William Kies (2 RBI, 1 run) all singled. 

Gavin Churchill and Levi Stahli each had two RBI and two runs scored, Ayren Morgan had an RBI and scored, Logan Huntington scored two runs and Drayden McGee, Cam Stahli and Hunter Simonds each scored once. 

McGee pitched two innings to earn the win for CV, allowing two hits with a walk and four strikeouts, while Churchill threw the final inning and gave up an unearned run on a hit and a walk with one K.

Spencer VanDelinder had two base hits for Williamson while Alex Watson had one and Kohen VanDelinder scored the Warriors’ run. 

Maddox Hartman took the loss for the Warriors, going one and a third innings and allowing nine runs (2 earned) on two hits and two walks, while Spencer VanDelinder threw two-thirds of an inning and gave up four earned runs on a hit and three walks and Owen Cilino pitched the final inning, allowing three runs (2 earned) on three base hits and two walks with one strikeout.

Cowanesque Valley (5-0) is scheduled to host Sayre on Thursday, while Williamson (1-2) is at Canton, also on Thursday.
