Northern Tier West Sports ReportMANSFIELD — The Tigers used big innings and a combined two-hitter to down the visiting Wyalusing Rams 14-4 in five innings here Tuesday.
North Penn-Mansfield scored six runs in the second inning, added five in the fourth and finished the Rams off with a three run fifth.
Noah Musser started on the mound for North Penn-Mansfield and went two and a third innings, allowing four unearned runs on two hits and two walks with four strikeouts. Isaac Sparks pitched the final two and two-thirds while walking one and striking out five.
Ryder Breon had three base hits in the win, including a triple, and added four RBI and a run scored, while Andy Hermansen had a triple and a double, an RBI and scored twice.
Adam Wilson had a double and two RBI, Kam House had a hit, two RBI and a run scored, Peyton Greene had a hit, an RBI and a run scored, Musser had a hit and scored twice, Collin Oakes had an RBI and two runs scored and Brock Deitrick and Sparks each scored two runs.
The Tigers (3-4) are scheduled to return to play on Thursday at Wellsboro.
