VARSITY TRACK & FIELD: WELLSBORO HORNETS EARN HARDWARE AT 99TH RODDICK INVITE (2026-04-18)

SHIPPENSBURG — The Wellsboro Track & Field teams brought home medals from the loaded Jack Roddick Invitational at Shippensburg University on Saturday.

Piper Hoprich earned a pair of medals, placing 2nd in the 200m dash (24.83) and 3rd in the 100m (12.09). 

Lauren Kosek placed 5th and broke her own school record in the 3200m run (10:44.88) and was 12th in the 1600m (5:18.27).

Isla Twoey was 21st in the 300m hurdles (49.68) and 29th in the triple jump (32-11.50), the 4x100m relay team was 14th (50.29) and the 4x400 meter relay was 28th (4:37.58).

For the boys, the 4x800m relay team was 7th (8:21.56), Jude Cuneo was 21st in the 800m run (2:03.43) and Henry Whitney was 21st in the 1600m (4:35.93) and Max Macias was 50th (4:59.35).
