VARSITY BASEBALL: COWANESQUE VALLEY EARNS LOPSIDED WIN OVER ADDISON (2026-04-22)

WESTFIELD — Cowanesque Valley ran their season record to 12-1 with a 22-8 non-league win over Addison (NY) here Wednesday.

The Indians scored a run in the first inning and Addison scored five in the second and two in the third to take a 7-1 lead. CV scored 12 runs in the third inning, Addison scored one in the fourth and the Indians completed the scoring with a nine-run bottom half.

CV had 11 hits in the game, drew 11 walks and took advantage of nine Addison errors.

Dave Hess had four base hits, including a double, and had six RBI and four runs scored. Lucas Hamilton had a double, two RBI and two runs scored while Ayren Morgan (2 rbi, 2 runs), Levi Stahli (1 run), Gavin Churchill (2 rbi, 1 run), Brody Bruce (1 rbi, 1 run) and William Kies (1 rbi, 4 runs) each had a single in the win.

Four CV pitchers combined to allow 10 base hits and four walks with five strikeouts.

The Indians (12-1) return to action on Thursday when they host Williamson.
