Northern Tier West Sports ReportWYALUSING — The Williamson Track & Field teams competed at a tri-meet with Sayre at Wyalusing on Tuesday where both the girls and boys squads went 1-1.
The Lady Warriors scored 85 points, ahead of Sayre (1) and behind the Lady Rams (99).
Madalynn Bailey won the 200m dash (27.82), the 400m (1:02.88) and the long jump (16-01), while Sayde Loucks won the discus (92-4) and the shot put (28-8.50), Elizabeth O’Neil won the 100m hurdles (17.54) and the 300m hurdles (55.79), Lainey Hackett won the 800m (2:42.69) and the 1600m (5:37.07), Natalie Yonker won the 3200m (14:18.96) and the 4x400m relay took 1st (4:30.19).
O’Neil was 2nd in the 100m dash (14.37), Maddison Fay was 2nd in the 400m (1:08.47), the 800m (2:48.97) and the 1600m (5:56.26). Anna Lee was 2nd in the triple jump (31-11.50)< Makayla Anderson was 2nd in the discus (81-8), Yonker was 3rd in the 1600m (5:57.14), Nicole Daugherty was 3rd in the high jump (4-02) and Loucks was 3rd in the javelin (77-8).
The boys scored 58 points, ahead of Sayre (7) and behind Wyalusing (116).
Joshua Teague won the 100m (12.02), the 200m (24.22) and the 400m (53.54), Ian Merwine won the 3200m (11:44.51) and the 4x400m relay was 1st (3:55.98).
Merwine was 2nd in the 1600m (5:26.02), Troy Madison was 2nd in the pole vault (10-03) and the triple jump (37-1.50), Ben Bower was 2nd in the 300m hurdles (47.82), Elias Rowand was 3rd in the 110m hurdles (21.90) and the 300m hurdles (52.88), Jeavon Eick was 3rd in the 200m (25.12), Nathaniel Wood was 3rd in the 800m (2:24.82), Jacob Johnson was 3rd in the javelin (114-11) and Jeremy Fuhrer was 3rd in the shot put (35-8).
