WELLSBORO — North Penn-Mansfield competed at the Jr. High NTL Track & Field Championships here Tuesday where the boys placed 3rd and the girls were 8th.

The Tigers scored 80 points, behind Wellsboro (132) and Athens (133.50) and ahead of Towanda (46), Troy (42), NEB (31), Williamson (29.5), Canton (5), Sayre (3) and Wyalusing (1).

Owen Lisowski won the 1600m run (5:24.09) and the long jump (16-01.50) and Brooks Dominick won the high jump (5-00).

Dominick was 2nd in the triple jump (28-08.50), Gabriel Tomko was 3rd (28-03.25) and Conor McEvoy was 6th (26-10.75) and Wyatt Farr was 7th in the discus (83-11.50). 

In the 800m run Maks Kriner was 3rd (2:35.98) and Carlos Ferrer-Vazquez was 4th (2:36.72), Tomko was 5th in the 100m hurdles (20.01), Kriner was 6th in the 1600m (5:44.63), Luke Nudd was 7th in the 100m dash (13.16), the 4x400m relay team of Kriner, Ferrer-Vazquez, Lisowski and Patrick Cot’e was 3rd (4:29.39) and the 4x100m relay of Farr, David Peterson, David Linquist and Nudd was 4th (53.98).

The Lady Tigers scored 23 points, behind champ Athens (134), Troy (110), Wellsboro (62.5), NEB (48.5), Williamson (48), Canton (26) and Wyalusing (26) and ahead of Towanda (22) and Sayre (6).

Peyton Chalot was 4th in the 800m (2:47.01), Mila Olson was 6th in the 100m dash (14.49), the 400m (1:10.92) and the 100m hurdles (19.86), Celia Frey was 8th in the 100m hurdles (20.06), the 4x100m relay team of Chalot, Ryan Cummings, Brynlee Cummings and Leah Bradley was 3rd (58.76) and the 4x400m relay of Olson, Frey, Bradley and Chalot was 6th (5:06.48).
