Northern Tier West Sports ReportWELLSBORO — The Hornets pounded out 13 base hits and Gage Baltzley threw a two-hitter as Wellsboro routed Northeast Bradford 15-1 in five innings here Thursday.
Baltzley threw all five innings and allowed an unearned run on two NEB hits and two walks while striking out seven.
Gabe Cuneo (1 run) and Marek Mascho (2 rbi, 2 runs) had three base hits each while Baltzley (2b, 4 rbi, 1 run) and Max Mascho (2 rbi, 3 runs) had two apiece.
Coen Tennis (1 rbi, 2 runs), Maddon Mascho (1 run) and Braxton Kerr (1 rbi, 1 run) each had a base hit while Jacob Heckman had two RBI, Reed Richardson drove in a run and Griffin Morral and Cameron Owlett each scored a run.
Wellsboro (13-2) is scheduled to return to action Friday when they host Wyalusing.
