Junior Syler Pietrzyk pitched five innings and gave up two unearned runs on three hits and four walks with five Ks and Baltzley pitched the 10th inning back in April, striking out the Athens’ side.

Athens, now 16-3 overall, 13-1 in the NTL and 8-1 in the large school, plays Troy on Tuesday. A win by Athens would make them and the Hornets co-champs while a Trojan victory would give Wellsboro the title outright.
