VARSITY SOFTBALL: WILLIAMSON LADY WARRIORS BEAT ADDISON (2026-05-11)

ADDISON — Down a run to Addison as they entered the fifth inning, Williamson rallied for a pair of big innings and pulled away for a 13-5 win in a non-league softball match-up Monday.

After a scoreless first, Williamson took a 1-0 lead in the top of the second, Addison answered with a run in the bottom half, the Warriors scored a run in the third and Addison again answered to tie it up at 2-all before taking a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the fourth.

The Lady Warriors rallied for a five run fifth and Addison tacked on a run in the bottom half before Williamson added four more runs in the sixth and two in the seventh. Addison plated a lone run in their last at-bat to provide the final.

Laila Hackett finished with a pair of doubles, four RBI and two runs scored in the win while Ashlyn Wells had two base hits, with a double, an RBI and a run scored. 

Kenna Thomas had a double, an RBI and scored twice, Lexi Smalley had a double and scored three runs, Jocelyn Colegrove had a base hit, an RBI and a run scored, Olivia Gee had a hit and two runs scored and Mckenzie Adriance had a hit and an RBI.

Gee pitched the first two innings and allowed an earned run on three Addison hits with one strikeout and Thomas finished, going five innings and giving up four runs (1 earned) on eight hits with nine Ks.

Williamson (11-7) is scheduled to return to play on Tuesday when they host Wellsboro.
