Northern Tier West Sports ReportTIOGA JUNCTION — The Williamson baseball team scored eight unanswered runs late to pull away from Oswayo Valley and earn a 12-5 win.
Oswayo Valley took a 3-0 lead with two runs in the first inning and one in the third. Williamson scored two in the bottom of the third, OV scored two in the fourth and the Warriors cut the lead to 5-4 with a pair of runs in the bottom of the fourth.
From there it was all Williamson as the Warriors scored three runs in the fifth and five in the sixth to earn the non-league win.
Harlow Little had three base hits in the win and added an RBI and two runs scored. Owen Cilino had two hits, with a double and an RBI, Kohen and Spencer VanDelinder each had two hits, two RBI and a run scored and Gabe Crance had two hits, three RBI and scored twice.
Xander Stafford had a hit, an RBI and two runs scored, Vic Brockman had a hit, Ayden Silvernail had an RBI and two runs scored, Carter Tubbs had an RBI and Landyn Carlin scored two runs.
Carlin started on the mound for Williamson and pitched four innings and allowed five earned runs on five hits and four walks with two strikeouts.
Kohen VanDelinder threw the final three frames, giving up one hit and striking out four.
Williamson (3-15) has one game remaining on their season, Friday at Northern Potter.
