VARSITY BASEBALL: TIGERS DROP FINAL GAME AT SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT (2026-05-13)

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT — North Penn-Mansfield finished up their 2026 baseball season here Wednesday, falling 13-1 in five innings to non-league South Williamsport. 

The Tigers took a 1-0 lead in their first at-bat as Andy Hermansen walked to start the game and would later score on a Ryder Breon sacrifice, but the host Mounties scored nine runs in their half of the first frame and added single runs in the second and third innings and two in the fourth to end the game early.

Jason Harer had two of Mansfield’s four base hits in the loss while Isaac Sparks had a double and Noah Musser had a single.

Harer started on the mound and went two-thirds of an inning, allowing eight runs (6 earned) on four SW hits and four walks. Musser pitched the final three and a third and gave up five runs (4 earned) on five base hits and a walk with three strikeouts.

The Tigers finish their 2026 season with a record of 7-12.
