Northern Tier West Sports ReportMANSFIELD — The 2026 Cowanesque Valley baseball team will begin their District IV Class A title defense on Tuesday when they host Northeast Bradford for a semifinal match-up at Mansfield University.
The Indians won the championship last season, beating Benton at MU and St. John Neumann in the final at Bowman Field.
This season, top-seeded CV (16-3) will face No. 4 seed Northeast Bradford (10-9) on Tuesday at 4:30.
The Indians are 2-0 against NTL small school-foe NEB this season .. beating the Panthers 13-5 in their season opener and 11-3 in mid-April.
In the other bracket, No. 2 seed Millville () hosts No. 3 seed Benton () at Central Columbia, also on Tuesday.
The winners will advance to the District final on Friday at Bowman Field.
