NTL SOFTBALL: WELLSBORO LADY HORNETS GET NO-HIT IN PLAYOFF LOSS TO TOP-SEEDED MIFFLINBURG (2026-05-19)

MIFFLINBURG — Wellsboro was no-hit by top-seeded Mifflinburg in the District IV 3A softball playoffs here Tuesday and lost 10-0 in five innings. 

The host Lady Wildcats scored five runs in the first inning, one run in each of the third and fourth frames and their final three in the fifth.

Rylee Coolidge was No. 8 seed Wellsboro’s lone baserunner in the loss, having reached on the lone walk issued by Mifflinburg.

Ady Frantz threw four and a third innings to take the loss, allowing 10 runs (5 earned) on six base hits and 10 walks with five strikeouts.

The Lady Hornets finish the 2026 season with a 10-11 mark.
