Northern Tier West Sports ReportTROY — Pool play wrapped up Wednesday for the PA District 15 major baseball teams, with Elkland falling 11-1 to Troy (pictured) and Wellsboro topping Southern Tioga, 4-2.
The loss drops Elkland to 0-3 in pool play, while Wellsboro finishes 3-0 and Southern Tioga went 1-2.
Bracket games begin Friday, with Wellsboro hosting Canton, Elkland going to Towanda and Southern Tioga visiting Athens.
