Northern Tier West Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY — The 2025-26 All-Tioga County ‘Super 7’ Female Athletes of the Year list is headlined by 3-sport MVP Haley Litzelman from North Penn-Liberty.
Litzelman is joined on the ’Super 7’ list by Wellsboro juniors Piper Hoprich and Lauren Kosek, Williamson senior Maddie Bailey, NPM/NPL senior Kameron Lightner and sophomore Maddie McNamara and Wellsboro sophomore Ady Frantz.

.. was the NTWSR All-Tioga County Volleyball Co-MVP after leading the Lady Mounties to a 12-7 overall record and a first-round District IV win over Williamson with 236 kills, 87 points, 61 aces, 231 digs and 38 blocks.
A dominant season-long performance in basketball saw Litzelman lead a young North Penn-Liberty squad into the playoffs, scoring in double figures in all but one game for the Lady Mounties, hitting 30+ points four times and averaging 22.4 points per game to finish her career with a school record 1,400 points. With 18 scoring/rebounding double-doubles, a rebounding/assist double-double and a triple-double, Litzelman averaged 13.2 rebounds per game .. finishing her career with 979 .. and added 4.5 assists, 3.7 steals and 2.6 blocks per outing as the runaway choice for All-Tioga County ‘Player of the Year’ honors.
In softball, where Litzelman will continue her career at Bucknell, the All-Tioga County ‘Player of the Year’ led the Lady Mounties (14-5) with a .518 batting average and collected 29 base hits, including 11 for extra bases (3 HR, 3-3b, 5-2b). Litzelman added 23 RBI, 17 runs scored, nine stolen bases and a .562 on-base-percentage and went 1-0 from the circle, throwing 11 innings without allowing an earned run and striking out 17.
Piper Hoprich, Wellsboro, junior ..
.. The 2026 All-Tioga County Track & Field ‘Athlete of the Year’ won a pair of State gold medals, in the 100 and 200 meter dashes, and combined with teammates Luna Moyer, Sophia Yoder and Paige Rush to earn a 4th-place medal on the All-Tioga County Relay of the Year, Wellsboro’s 4x100m squad. The junior sprinter added District titles in the 100 and 200 while the 4x100 took 3rd and led the Lady Hornets to an NTL Championship by winning all three events at the league meet.
Lauren Kosek, Wellsboro, junior ..
.. won an NTL cross country title, a District IV championship and a 3rd-place medal at States and led the All-Tioga County girls’ cross country ‘Fab 5’ as the ‘Runner of the Year’ for the third straight time.
In the Spring, Kosek won three events in Wellsboro’s title winning-performance at NTL’s .. the 800, 1600 and 3200 meter runs .. and earned silver medals in the 1600 and 3200 and a 4th-place finish in the 800 at Districts to help the Lady Hornets to a 3rd-place finish before claiming 2nd place in the 3200 and 5th-place in the 1600 at the PIAA Championships.
Maddie Bailey, Williamson, senior ..
.. was First Team All-Tioga County in soccer after leading a rebuilding Williamson squad to a .500 season and into the District IV playoffs with 17 goals and 9 assists.
.. joined the first-year Williamson girls’ wrestling team and won eight matches.
.. the All-Tioga County combined Track/Field ‘Athlete of the Year’ paced Williamson all season and led the Lady Warriors to a 4th place finish at the NTL coaches’ invite, taking 1st place in the long jump, 2nd in the 800m run and joining with teammates Natalie Yonker, Maddison Fay and Lainey Hackett to win the 4x800m relay title. Bailey followed up NTL’s with an impressive performance at the District IV Championships, placing 2nd in the long jump, 3rd in the 800 and 4th with Hackett, Fay and Yonker in the two-mile relay while qualifying for the State Championships in all three events. The foursome finished 22nd at States while Bailey was 16th in the 800m and 28th in the long jump.
Kameron Lightner, North Penn-Mansfield/North Penn-Liberty, senior ..
.. was named to the All-Tioga County Volleyball First Team after collecting 206 kills, 55 pts., 17 aces and 316 digs for the Lady Mounties.
.. averaged a double-double of 15.4 rebounds and 12.6 points per game for the 11-12 Lady Tigers. The All-Tioga County Defensive Player of the Year added 2.8 steals and a blocked shot per game.
.. was an All-Tioga County Softball First Teamer after hitting .322 with 19 base hits (6-2b), 10 runs scored, 13 RBI and a .385 on-base-percentage.

.. was Honorable Mention All-Tioga County in volleyball with 225 digs, 40 points and 25 aces for the Lady Mounties.
.. named All-Tioga County First Team in basketball after scoring 11.3 points per game and adding 3.1 assists, 3.3 steals and 5.2 rebounds per game.
.. 2nd Team All-Tioga County Softball with a .265 batting average, 13 base hits, 11 runs scored, 4 RBI, a .357 OBP and 8 stolen bases.
Ady Frantz, Wellsboro, sophomore ..
.. was Honorable Mention All-Tioga County in volleyball with 175 kills, 21 pts., 7 aces, 30 blocks and 23 digs for the Lady Hornets.
.. named 2nd Team in basketball after averaging 7.6 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.1 steals per game for the Hornets.
.. 1st Team All-Tioga County Softball after batting .453 with 29 base hits (1 HR, 6-3b, 7-2b), 19 runs scored, 26 RBI, a .500 OBP and went 9-11 in the circle, throwing 113 innings with a 2.69 ERA and a Wellsboro-record 217 strikeouts.
