NTL GOLF: WELLSBORO WINS HEAD-TO-HEAD MATCH WITH CANTON (2026-08-27)

WELLSBORO — The Wellsboro golf team earned a head-to-head victory over Canton Thursday afternoon at Tyoga Golf Course, winning 169-196.

Sam Jackson shot a 41 while Case Butler had a 42, Syler Pietrzyk, Ben Jackson and Chase Schultz all shot 43’s and Jackson Largey had a 46.

The win improves the team to 15-7 on the season (15-7 NTL). The Hornets are back in action Tuesday as they travel to River Valley Country Club to face off against Cowanesque Valley and Towanda.
