TIOGA JUNCTION — Williamson hosted their annual volleyball tournament on Saturday and placed second out of nine teams to champ Troy.

The Lady Warriors went 5-3 in pool play, winning two sets each against CV (25-18, 25-19) and NEB (25-20, 25-14), splitting with Athens (25-21, 21-25) and dropping two to Coudersport (21-25, 20-25).

Williamson topped both Sayre and Athens before losing to Troy in the tournament final.

Olivia Nolan collected 49 kills, 25 service points with nine aces, 24 digs and a block on the day, while Laine LaPointe had 74 assists, nine digs and 29 points with 15 aces. 

Bailey Snyder had 35 digs, 15 points and six aces, Olivia Gee had 20 points with four aces, 11 digs and two kills, Aubrey Wells had 15 kills, 12 points, 12 digs and two blocks, Dana LaPointe had 17 points with four aces, 13 kills and 14 digs, Joslyn Kendrick had four kills, a block and a dig, Kenedy VanGorden had three points, a kill and a dig and Madeline Knapp had 20 digs.

Williamson is scheduled to return to play on Tuesday when they host Canton.
