Northern Tier West Sports ReportWELLSBORO — The Cowanesque Valley cross country teams competed with NP-Mansfield and Northeast Bradford at Wellsboro’s quad meet Tuesday and the Lady Indians went 1-2 while the boys were 0-3.
The girls beat NPM 17-19 and fell 26-39 to Wellsboro and 23-32 to NEB.
Lainey Hackett (24:10) placed 4th overall while Natalie Yonker (25:09) was 6th, Kyla H. (30:01) was 11th and Kendra Miles (37:46) was 17th.
The boys lost 20-37 to Wellsboro, 23-32 to NPM and 15-50 to NEB.
Nathaniel W. (22:49) was 12th, Tevin H. (24:37) was 16th, Isaiah F. (24:50) was 17th, Keegan F. (25:37) was 20th, Josiah H. (28:10) was 24th, Dominick K. (28:33) was 25th and Andrew L. (34:09) was 29th.
