Northern Tier West Sports ReportWELLSBORO — The North Penn-Mansfield cross country teams ran in a quad meet at Wellsboro and the boys went 1-2 while the Lady Tigers were 0-3.
The boys beat CV 23-32 and fell to both Wellsboro (28-29) and NEB (19-42).
Michael Knefley (19:43) finished 2nd overall while Braden VanLoon (21:44) was 7th, Isaiah VanLoon (24:11) was 14th, Nolan Palmatier (24:50) was 18th, Alex Mahosky (27:39) was 23rd and Maddox Correll (32:30) was 28th.
The Lady Tigers fell 22-33 to Wellsboro, 20-35 to NEB and 17-19 to CV.
Leila Garverick (23:58) placed 3rd overall while Kara Barrett (29:59) was 10th, Carolyn Cherwinski (35:29) was 16th and Bailey S. (40:13) was 19th.
