Northern Tier West Sports ReportWELLSBORO — The Hornet cross country teams hosted a quad-meet with Northeast Bradford, North Penn-Mansfield and Cowanesque Valley Tuesday where both the girls’ and boys’ squads went 2-1.
Lauren Kosek (23:21) won the girls’ race as the Lady Hornets fell to NEB 23-32 and beat NPM 22-33 and CV 26-39.
Molly Tice (28:33) was 9th, Luisa Crocco (30:54) was 12th, Brianna O’Shea Losinger (33:50) was 13th and Anja Przybycien (35:22) was 15th.
In the boys’ race, the Hornets fell to NEB 15-47 and beat NPM 28-29 and CV 20-37.
Taitt Webster (22:02) was the high finisher for Wellsboro in 8th place while Will Rudy (22:41) was 10th, Lucas Crowl (24:07) was 13th, Jack Hammerton (24:15) was 15th, Jesse Spicer (25:26) was 19th, Jacob Patterson (26:02) was 21st, Jeff Rawson (26:41) was 22nd, Justin Dunlap (28:50) was 26th and Aaron Salevsky (35:03) was 30th.
