Northern Tier West Sports ReportTOWANDA — North Penn-Liberty surrendered four first half goals and went on to fall 5-2 to Towanda in an NTL boys’ soccer match-up here Tuesday.
The Mounties made it 4-2 at the half with a pair of goals by Kai Wheeland .. both assisted on by David Graf .. before allowing Towanda’s final score in the second half to provide the final.
Towanda had an 8-5 advantage in shots-on-goal and had seven corner kicks while NPL had one.
Keeper Owen Lisowski had three saves in net for the Mounties.
North Penn-Liberty (0-2) is scheduled to next host Williamson, on Thursday.
