Northern Tier West Sports ReportWELLSBORO — The Hornets had 10 different players score here Tuesday, taking down North Penn-Liberty, 10-1.
Wellsboro scored six first half goals and four in the second.
Gabe Cuneo finished with a goal and two assists, Zander Rachiele had a goal and an assist, Callen Novak, Jacob Smith, Fen Moyer, Octavian Wyman, Liam Stevens, Dylan Tomlinson, Cody Tomlinson and Colin Fletcher each scored a goal and Mason Brill and Kayden Pearson had assists.
Mason Forer scored the Mounties’ lone goal.
Wellsboro outshot NPL 27-4 and had a 6-0 advantage in corner kicks while Hornet keeper Camden Bryant had three saves and NPL goalie Cooper Barnes had 17 stops in net.
The Hornets (3-1) return to action Saturday at Montoursville while North Penn-Liberty (0-5) hosts NEB Thursday.
