Northern Tier West Sports ReportMANSFIELD — The Lady Tigers took a 1-0 lead into the break but couldn’t hold on and fell 2-1 to Wyalusing in NTL girls’ soccer play here Wednesday.
Adalyn Yungwirth scored unassisted midway through the first half to give North Penn-Mansfield their 1-0 lead.
The Lady Rams scored both their goals within four seconds of play to take the lead and seal the win.
Wyalusing outshot NPM 15-8 while the Tigers held a 3-1 advantage in corner kicks.
Keeper Avalon Rew recorded 13 saves in net for NP-Mansfield.
The Lady Tigers return to play on Thursday when they host Northumberland Christian.
