NTL GIRLS SOCCER: WILLIAMSON CAN'T KEEP UP WITH WILDCATS (2026-09-09)

ATHENS — The Williamson Lady Warriors suffered a lopsided loss to Athens .. 15-3 .. in an NTL girls’ soccer match-up here Wednesday.

Athens jumped to a 10-2 lead in the first half as Williamson’s Addy Lanzo scored both goals for the Lady Warriors. 

Lainey Hackett took an assist from Lanzo and scored Williamson’s final goal in the second half.

Athens held a 29-6 advantage in shots as keeper Ava Chapel had 10 saves in net for the Lady Tigers.

Williamson is scheduled to return to play on Saturday when they travel to take on Northeast Bradford.
