Northern Tier West Sports ReportMANSFIELD — The host Lady Mounties won the first two sets and held on for a 3-1 win over Troy in an NTL volleyball match-up here Thursday.
NPL won the first two sets 25-18 and 25-20, fell 26-24 in the third and rallied for a 25-16 win in the fourth set to seal the match.
Lilly McNamara had 21 digs and 14 kills for the Lady Mounties while Maddison Smith had 28 assists, 11 digs and three kills.
Gabby Bubeck had 19 digs and eight kills, Elaina Shaw had 17 digs, four blocks and three kills, Maddie McNamara had 21 digs, Vicki McTish had six digs, four blocks and four kills and Kendall Graham had six digs, two blocks and a kill.
Liberty improves to 3-2 on the season with their third straight ‘W’ and plays at the Corning Tournament this weekend.
