Northern Tier West Sports ReportTIOGA COUNTY — The NTWSR / Laurel Health ‘Athletes of the Week’ are North Penn-Liberty volleyball’s Madison Smith and Wellsboro soccer player Gabe Cuneo.
Smith started the week helping the Lady Mounties to a 3-1 win over Williamson .. collecting 11 digs and two blocks .. then led NPL at the Corning Tournament and collected the 500th assist of her career.
Cuneo finished with a goal and two assists in a 10-1 win over North Penn-Liberty and scored in Wellsboro’s 2-2 draw with Montoursville.
