Northern Tier West Sports ReportMANSFIELD — The Lady Tigers surrendered a lone first half goal to Troy and fell 1-0 to the visiting Lady Trojans in NTL girls’ soccer action Monday.
Troy’s Giana Renzi scored what would wind up being the game winner at the 34 minute mark of the first half and the teams played out the rest of the match scoreless.
The Lady Trojans outshot NP-Mansfield 8-4 and had a 2-0 edge in corner kicks, while keeper Avalon Rew made seven saves in net for the Tigers.
North Penn-Mansfield is scheduled to return to action on Wednesday at Northeast Bradford.
