Northern Tier West Sports ReportTIOGA JUNCTION — Wellsboro earned a 3-1 win over the host Lady Warriors in NTL volleyball play Tuesday night.
The Lady Hornets won 25-9 and 25-22 to take a 2-0 lead before Williamson outlasted Wellsboro for a 29-27 win in the third set and the Hornets sealed the victory with a 25-22 “W” in the fourth.
Peyton Keane finished with 15 kills, 12 service points and 14 digs in the win while Ellie Largey had 22 points and 23 assists, Maddy Cuttenden had 40 digs, Kendall Sweet had 11 kills and 12 points, Ady Frantz had 11 kills and two blocks, Jillian Mickey had 14 digs and 25 assists and Blake Eckart had two blocks.
For Williamson, Olivia Nolan had 17 kills, 12 digs and 11 service points, while LaineLaPointe had eight points, 12 assists and two kills, Olivia Gee had five points, five digs and a kill, Dana LaPointe had 10 kills, seven points and five digs, Aubrey Wells had six kills and Bailey Snyder had 12 digs and four points.
