Northern Tier West Sports ReportTIOGA JUNCTION — Wellsboro got a hat trick of goals from Haylie Smith and beat the host Williamson Lady Warriors 7-1 in an NTL girls’ soccer match-up here Tuesday.
Luna Moyer, Aileen Bowers, Lauren Gehman and Jadyn Dunlap each had a goal and Moyer and Olive Twoey each assisted on a goal.
Alexis Sprague scored Williamson’s lone goal.
Wellsboro had a 22-4 advantage in shots-on-goal and had a 2-0 edge in corner kicks.
Keeper Dunlap had two saves in net for Wellsboro and Twoey had one after taking over in goal in the second half. Leanne Kessing made 15 saves for the Lady Warriors.
Williamson (0-6) is at Troy on Thursday while Wellsboro (5-1-1) hosts Wyalusing on Thursday.
