Northern Tier West Sports ReportCANTON — Cowanesque Valley ran in a XC tri-meet with Sayre in Canton Tuesday where the Lady Indians were 2-0 and the boys went 1-1.
CV beat Canton 15-50 in the girls’ race with both teams winning 15-50 over Sayre.
CV's Natalie Yonker (21:06) won the girls’ race while Lainey Hackett (21:35) was 2nd, Maddy Fay (22:59) was 3rd, Kyla Hakes (24:54) was 5th and Kendra Miles (31:06) was 7th.
The boys beat Sayre 15-50 and lost 22-35 to the host Warriors.
Nathaniel Wood (19:48) was CV’s top finisher, placing 3rd, while Trevon Hollenbach (20:31) was 4th, Keegan Farr (21:01) was 7th, Isaiah Fuhrer (21:27) was 9th, Josiah Hampton (22:09) was 12th, Dominick Koehler (23:22) was 13th and Andrew Louca (23:44) was 14th.
