WELLSBORO — The Lady Hornets earned a league win Thursday, beating Wyalusing 1-0 in girls’ soccer play.

Lauren Gehman scored off a Kate Bryant assist at the 6:37 mark of the first half and Wellsboro made the goal stand up through a scoreless second half. 

Wellsboro had a 7-3 advantage in shots-on-goal and a 3-1 edge in corner kicks. Keeper Jadyn Dunlap recorded the clean sheet, making three saves in net for the Lady Hornets.

Wellsboro (6-1-1) returns to play on Saturday at Warrior Run.
