Northern Tier West Sports ReportTURBOTVILLE — Wellsboro lost just their second game of the season on Saturday, falling 1-0 to 9-2 Warrior Run in non-league girls’ soccer action.
The teams played a scoreless first half before Warrior Run scored the game-winner at the 27-minute mark of the second frame.
The Lady Defenders outshot the Hornets 16-4 and had a 5-3 advantage in corner kicks.
Goalkeeper Jadyn Dunlap recorded 14 saves in net for Wellsboro.
The Lady Hornets are scheduled to return to play at Towanda on Tuesday.
