Northern Tier West Sports ReportEAST TROY — Wellsboro had nine players score goals and routed the host Troy Trojans 14-0 in NTL boys’ soccer play here Monday.
The Hornets scored eight goals in the first half and six in the second, while outshooting Troy 44-2.
Gabe Cuneo had a hat trick with three goals while Cody Tomlinson, Mason Brill and James Doughtie each had two and Maddon Mascho, Xavier Lecker, Zander Rachiele, Liam Stevens and Kayden Pearson had a goal each.
Stevens had three assists, Brill had two and Cody Tomlinson, Pearson, Lecker, Callen Novak and Brayden Benjamin had one helper each.
The Hornets (9-1-2) return to action Wednesday when they host Towanda. The Black Knights handed Wellsboro their lone loss of the season back on September 3rd.
