COUDERSPORT — Wellsboro broke open a 1-1 match with Coudersport here Monday by taking two straight sets and winning 3-1.

The Lady Hornets won the first set 25-19 and Coudy took the second .. 25-19. Wellsboro took the third set 25-16 and the fourth 25-21.

Peyton Keane finished with 14 kills and added eight digs while Maddy Cruttenden had 30 digs and 10 service points with three aces. 

Ady Frantz had 11 kills, two blocks and 14 points with six aces, Ellie Largey had 25 assists, seven digs and 10 points with two aces, Kendall Sweet had nine kills and Jillian Mickey had 16 assists.

Wellsboro (8-2) returns to action Tuesday at Canton.
