NTL CROSS COUNTRY: NORTH PENN-MANSFIELD BOYS 2-0 AT TRI-MEET WITH WYALUSING IN CANTON, LADY TIGERS 1-1 (2026-09-29)

Northern Tier West Sports Report
CANTON — The North Penn-Mansfield cross country teams ran in a tri-meet at Canton with Wyalusing on Tuesday with the boys going 2-0 and the Lady Tigers 1-1.

The Tigers won 27-29 over Canton and 25-30 over Wyalusing. 

Michael Knefley (17:51) took first place while David Graf (19:07) was 5th, Brayden VanLoon (19:15) was 6th, Isaiah VanLoon (19:57) was 9th and Alex Mahosky (21:08) was 16th. 
Nolan Palmatir (22:17) was 17th, Maddox Correll (23:30) was 20th and Kaleb Post (24:35) was 21st.

On the girls’ side, NPM was edged 27-28 by Wyalusing and beat Canton 15-50.

Leila Garverick (21:02) and Jaci Fairchild (21:32) were 1st and 2nd while Kara Barrett (24:22) was 7th, Carolyn Cherwinski (25:03) was 10th, Maryn McCarthy (28:37) was 12th and Bailey Smith (35:07) was 13th.
