LORETTO, PA — Former two-time NTL Player of the Year Hunter Brown of Wellsboro has been producing for the St. Francis football team, as the tight end has seen increased playing time in just his second season for the Division I FCS Red Flash.
In St. Francis’ last five games, where they’ve gone 3-2, Brown has hauled in nine receptions for 100 yards. His high of three catches came in a narrow 18-17 loss to NEC-leading Bryant on October 16th.
Not included in those nine receptions is Brown’s 2-point conversion catch in the Red Flash’s season-opening loss to Division I FBS opponent Eastern Michigan.
St. Francis is currently 4-4 overall, and 3-1 in the Northeast Conference. They’ll host Sacred Heart on Saturday, before finishing up their regular season with a home game against Merrimack and a trip to Central Connecticut.
