BOYS’ TRACK & FIELD
4X800 Meter Relay Team (Nathaniel Welch, Duncan Kerr, Kristian Mizdail, Owen Cummings), Williamson
The quartet brought hardware back from the State Championships, taking 2nd place with a season-best time of 8:10.86 in the 4x800 meter relay.
BASEBALL
Darryn Callahan, Wellsboro
Callahan, a senior, had a pair of hits, including a double, and scored a run in his last high school game as the Hornets were eliminated from the District IV Class AAA playoffs with a 7-4 loss to Hughesville.
SOFTBALL
Maddie Millard, Cowanesque Valley
The sophomore collected a pair of hits, including a double, in the Lady Indians’ District IV quarterfinal win over Canton, adding an RBI and a run scored, then had a hit and scored a run in CV’s semifinal win over NEB. Millard was also a key to the Indian defense from her spot at second base.
