NT YOUTH FOOTBALL: SOUTHERN TIOGA HOSTS SAYRE (2022-08-27) Northern Tier West Sports Report BLOSSBURG — The Southern Tioga Youth Football teams opened their season here Saturday, as the Screaming Eagles hosted teams from Sayre.
After the flag football game kicked things off, Sayre’s “C” team would take the win over Southern Tioga’s first and second-graders, 19-7.
In the “B” game, the Screaming Eagles fell 19-6, while there would be no “A” game due to Sayre not having enough players available. Southern Tioga instead held an inter-squad scrimmage.
The Southern Tioga teams will play next Saturday in Canton.
