COLLEGE FOOTBALL: WELLSBORO'S BROWN IGNITES SAINT FRANCIS COMEBACK WIN WITH TOUCHDOWN

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Wellsboro grad Hunter Brown hauled in a 40-yard touchdown reception for Saint Francis Saturday, sparking a 38-24 comeback win over Georgetown and SFU’s seventh straight win.
The Red Flash fell behind 14-0 to the Hoyas before Brown broke loose early in the second quarter for the long score, igniting an SFU offense that finished with 450 yards of offense.
Brown would collect three catches in the game for 67 yards. The redshirt sophomore has 10 catches on the season for the Red Flash, good for 143 yards, and also has carried the ball eight times for 40 yards, including a 2-yard TD run in a 39-13 win over Central Connecticut State.
Saint Francis is 7-2 overall and 5-0 in the Northeast Conference. They’ll host division-foe Duquesne (3-6, 2-3) on Saturday, November 12th at 12 p.m.
